Thanksgiving Day Celebration

The air was alive with love, celebration, and thankfulness as approximately 150 people joined together to celebrate the goodness of the Lord on Thanksgiving day. In celebration we ate of the Lord’s bountiful provision, watched football, played foos ball, air hockey, football, ping pong, Wii, Dominoes, various card games, PS2, and watched Veggie Tale movies. In addition to these fun activities, we enjoy Steve and Anita Wright serenading us with country Gospel vocal selections accompanied by banjo and guitar.

Special thanks to all who participated, volunteered, and enjoyed. Our guests gobbled up about 125 pounds of turkey, 80 pounds of ham, three cases of mashed potatoes, and a bajillion pies.

One piece of advice for next Thanksgiving. Don’t let a non-coffee drinker make the coffee. How was I to know that coffee isn’t supposed to resemble thin mud? Oh, yes. I forgot to make stuffing. Oops. My error. Sorry.
