I hear the Maldives are as beautiful as can be. With hundreds of amazing tropical islands I can imagine the beaches, palm trees and tropical fruit. I love joining God in looking at His creation and declaring, “It is good.”
The 30 Days of Prayer for the Muslim World Prayer Guide has the deeply thought provoking and challenging title, “The Maldives: Paradise without Christ.”
According to their law, the Maldives are 100% Muslim. Physically the Maldives are sunny and bright. Spiritually, there is great darkness.
Interestingly, it is the world’s lowest country (from sea level). At its highest, The Maldives are 17 feet above sea level. There is a spiritual low point too. The Bible is not yet fully translated into Dhivehi.
