Friends Bring Friends to Jesus

couple holding hands in a flower fieldIn this message Pastor Fay Niemann invites us to consider the fulfillment and joy that follow bringing a friend to Jesus.  As a general rule, we can apply the truth of “Never do anything alone,” to our journey with Jesus.

In this season, we have been investigating the contributions of the Apostles and the call for us to continue advancing the work they began. Successful advancement of God’s Kingdom happens as Believers are empowered by the Holy Spirit, take bold steps of faith and bring it. All in people bring their best to God and bring their friends to Jesus.

Andrew’s Story – John 1:35-42

Andrew goes to Peter – v41

Andrew brings a little boy to Jesus – John 6:8

Andrew invites a bunch of Greeks to come and see Jesus – John 12:20-26

Point: Andrew naturally brought people to Jesus

Andrew’s Admonition……be an Influencer!

Influence: The capacity to effect and shape the destiny of another.

Attract People to Jesus – Matt 5:13-16

Effectively Witness through Holy Spirit Empowerment – Acts1:8, Matt 28:19-20

1. Make sense of Jesus for people.

2. Share your story.

Telling your story is important because ….

Understanding Your Personal Style for Sharing Christ

3. Speak directly to issues.

4. Invite them to come with you to see Jesus.

God Understands the Value of One
