We Speak Life

We are investigating Jesus’ (the Author of Life) interaction with a woman at a water well that totally transformed the woman’s existence into abundant lifeBecoming a person through whom people find more life for their lives is the goal.  John 10:10

In this narrative we have the Author of Life speaking life into a person’s existence.  One of faith’s greatest lessons is found in Proverbs 18:21.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue,

And those who love it will eat its fruits.

Today, you either have a death tongue or a life tongue.  You will eat the fruit of whichever type you love.

Each human being senses the common threefold enemy of lack:

  • Lack of worth
  • Lack of honor
  • Lack of respect

Experiencing and then speaking the opposite of that triad, worth, honor and respect into the lives of others will provide for both the speaker and the listener the life tongues’ fruit of dignity.  Dignity – The state or quality of being worthy of honor and respect.  I love dignity and it is in the power of my tongue!
