Today, I was speaking with a Pastor about a certain gentleman who has come upon one difficulty after another. Much frustration, pain, and trouble has been his consistent experience. My Pastor friend said, “You know, I wonder if all of this would have been averted if this person was obedient with God’s tithe?”
I suppose only God knows. However, it sure doesn’t appear that God has rebuked the devourer on this guys behalf.
Interestingly, I saw this bumper sticker a couple of days ago. It says something like, “Don’t participate in the recession. TITHE. Participate in God’s economy.”
