Bon Voyage

Greetings from Paris.  Our Global Outreach Team is well on our to for specific acts of service in Burkina Faso, West Africa.  Our travels went smoothly with everyone arriving in Paris with good attitudes and healthy bodies.

Each flight was on time, with a special bonus of a strong tailwind from Minneapolis to Paris, which made the flight only 7.5 hours rather than 8.5.  Upon arrival in Paris we gathered our luggage and boarded the RER train Blue Line.  Twenty five minutes later we transfered to the Red Line and several stops later we transfered to the Yellow Line.

Our Hotel is phenomenal.  Each suite, in which four team members stay, is 745 square feet, and have six rooms each.  We are located in downtown Paris at La Defense’, in the business district.  Our accommodations were selected by Howard, who is known as the world’s greatest bargain finder.  We are staying for less than our tiny rooms cost us last trip.

One shocker.  Wireless internet access is $15 per hour.  So i selected the $35 per day price.

I’ll be taking some pictures and getting them uploaded as soon as possible.

Today is a free day for the team.  I have a big surprse for Danee’.  I’ll let you know about it later today.
