The new District Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, Pastor Bill Welch, arrived in their new home town of Anchorage today. Pastor Welch, elected to office in the May District Council, will begin his leadership on July 1.
I am the world’s worst mover. I do not like to say good bye. Heaven is heaven, in part, because there will be no good byes. I can only imagine the emotions of those who must say goodbye to things that are of great importance and to those they love deeply from the heart.
Our outgoing and incoming District Superintendents both have goodbyes to say. Yet both of them have the bright will of God before them. Please pray that everyone will embrace the hellos that are just on the other side of goodbye.
