Today’s prayer focus is found in Psalm 33:20-22.
We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield. 21 In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. 22 May your unfailing love rest upon us, O LORD, even as we put our hope in you.
Our hope is in the Lord because he is our help and shield. The Lord is the one for whom we wait. He is the Ultimate Presence. He is our help and our shield. Because of His greatness, we trust in his holy name. God’s trustworthiness produces in our hearts a deep and abiding joy. While we wait in hope and rejoice in trust may God’s unfailing love rest upon us.
