One of our young worshipers was mesmerized by the Fontanini Nativity figures. His eyes were wide in appreciation for the beauty of the pieces and for the power of Christ. “Would you like to hold Jesus?” I asked. He shook his head in the affirmative.
Think about it. The God who holds infinity in His grasp, the One who is in matter yet far beyond matter, the One who knows truth and is Truth, resting quietly in Joseph and Mary’s arms.
