The creative skills of the Burkinabe are exceptional. Everywhere you look someone is bringing forth beauty. Several years ago I began to develop a relationship with a tailor. He and his wife are fantastic artisans who design, create, and fit the perfect outfit.
Issa and his wife are the nicest people on the planet. They are joyful, kind, and gentle. What a joy to know them and begin a long term friendship.
Being Muslim, they had never attended a church service. “Issa, I wear your clothes all over the world. You should come to church this weekend and see how they look while I do what I do.” My words were not even acknowledged.
After my message Sunday morning, I was totally elated, overjoyed, exuberant to see both Issa and his wife walk up to me in the altar area.
