I just received this praise report a couple of minutes ago. Read it and enjoy the transformational work of Jesus in the lives of people today.
To the believers on staff and in fellowship at Muldoon assembly,
While in prayer this morning, I was encouraged to contact you. In the spring of 1984, I was on my way home from work when my bicycle tire went flat. As I was pushing my bike, a small pickup pulled over, and three young men got out and offered a ride. As one of the boys put my bike in the back of the truck, one of the men asked me,
“Do you know Jesus?”.
“What did I get myself into?”
I said that I had heard about him from my Grandma, and from my Aunt. He smiled and asked again,
“But do you know him?”
The young man that was driving explained that it was Christ who compelled them to offer me the ride, and if I had a few minutes they would like to share about him.
I thought I ought to at least ask them in and offer them a beer for bringing me home.
When we got inside, They shared the gospel with me. On my knees, I thought, if what they say is true, that is what i need. I confessed myself a sinner, and asked Christ to save me. He entered my heart in a powerful way.
Those young men invited me to their church, Muldoon Assembly, where I was Baptized by both Spirit and water.
I left Alaska shortly after that. In the last 23 years, God has been faithful, though I have not. he has blessed me with a wife and 2 children, Miranda, 8, and my son Jason ,10, who was just baptized last Sunday.
In giving thanks this morning, I thank God for his work through loving christians at Muldoon Assembly.
Hallelujah! Let’s keep the Good News flowing.
