Anthony was promoted to Captain with his lovely wife, Joy, by his side. The ceremony included a commitment oath to defend the Constitution and people of the United States, brief speeches by leaders, and a response from Anthony.
Anthony gave thanks to the Lord, his bride, his leaders, and to his church family (represented by Colonel Vaughn). The mood was festive, joyful, and encouraging.
Our worship family is much benefited by knowing and loving those who serve in the United States Armed Forces. Anthony and Joy are well loved by many MCA folks and their leadership in EDGE is of tremendous value.
Joy, Anthony’s wife, will be working with me for the next several months. Pastor Tracy has shifted her work load to part time with special emphasis on Married Life Ministries. I’ll miss her daily work in the office. Tracy and Joy will cooperate to assure you of excellent pastoral care from our office.
