Mark and Val Burgess coordinated one of the community events that shows to hundreds of people the love of God. The Thanksgiving Blessing was well received by our community and the entire process flowed very well.
704 families shopped for their Thanksgiving meal in the MCA Thanksgiving Blessing grocery (set up in our gym). My guess is that each family represents at least 3 people, most likely more. A very conservative estimate is that over 2,000 people will dine on Thanksgiving food provide by the community and distributed through MCA.
Mark and Val established a highly committed team who administered their gift of helps with class and grace. Laura Sheneman, Daryl Davis, Peach Holtzman, Steve Wright, and Chris and Courtney Cooper were the team leads who performed marvelously.
