God has enabled us, as we are dependent upon the Holy Spirit, to live in great power! In the Person of the Spirit you are fully enabled for an abundant ministry of declaring Jesus to the world.

- We all have a desire that has been hard wired into us for power!
- Our choices between things – Home improvement – USS Midway
- God has given us more power than we could ever realize!
- Power in the spiritual realm
- Battle not against flesh and blood
- Dunamis!

We need to realize the power that is living in us for 2 reasons:
- So that the church can be encouraged
- Isaiah 50:4 – – 4 The Sovereign Lord has given me a well-instructed tongue; to know the word that sustains the weary
- So that others can see the signs and wonders and believe!
- Jesus promised miracles to accompany the preaching of the gospel
- Cannot deny the power of a changed life

- Get to Know The Power Source
- Peter obviously had an intimate understanding of God’s Glory and Power!
- The greatness of God cannot be described

- He is Concerned – – Capable – – Competent

- Humble yourself and acknowledge that HE IS THE ONLY WAY!
- What have we been looking to for Power?
- The blind beggar was looking for money
- Peter had something much better for him
- Drugs, alcohol, relationships
- Become Aware
- Become aware of the situations around you
- Peter was aware of a need but acted on that as a result of God’s prompting
- The beggar was there every day
- Get in tune with the Holy Spirit
- Can’t hear a station we are not tuned into
- Worship, word, prayer, fasting
- Quiet yourself
- Don’t ask God to use you in a spiritual gift Ask that your heart would be ready

- Miracles within the church walls should account for a small percentage of the miracles within this body!
- Don’t ask yourself, what if I’m wrong. Ask yourself, what if I’m right!
- Receive the Gift for Power
