Sunday Nite Live is one of the glorious ministry events of the MCA weekend. Blaine Schmidt (service lead) organizes the service with much prayer and preparation.
Last Sunday evening, we hosted the ministry of the Lord through His servant, Allen Griffin. My children are still saying, “He was so funny.” Sounds of laughter filled the air and tears fell like rain during the altar call. That’s right. We are “one of those churches” who still have Sunday evening church services and altar calls. It feels like a wasted Sunday evening if we don’t bend our knee in prayer and worship prior to leaving.
Allen’s message required some dramatic interpretation. I hope the following photos help capture his energy.
