I had a tremendous time in the presence of the Lord and with our MCA worship community during the 2008 MCA Watch Night Service. Justin Wetzler and Tracy Hodges were our worship facilitators and Dale Baker was the preacher of the hour and Blaine Schmidt served Holy Communion. I loved the evening.
Watch Night service is a fundamental priority for me. Attending our Watch Night service is the giving of first fruits for me. Now that I have attended the 2008 Watch Night service I feel that my entire year will be lived out under the God first prioirity. Additionally, giving God the first part of the new year in worship, hearing the word, and in Holy Communion gives me the sense that I have honored the Lord with the first fruits of the new year. The entire year belongs to God!
